Description of Duties: | Position Summary: The Graphic Design Coordinator is responsible for the creation of all visual content for Pride Winnipeg, including posters, banners, advertisements, social media graphics, the Pride Guide, and other promotional materials. This role ensures all design elements align with Pride Winnipeg's brand identity and messaging, contributing to the overall success of marketing and community engagement initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Marketing Director to assess and prioritize graphic design needs. - Work closely with internal stakeholders to determine design styles, formats, print production requirements, and project timelines. - Develop creative concepts, graphics, and layouts for Pride Winnipeg's publications, marketing materials, and programming content. - Produce high-quality graphics and review drafts with internal stakeholders and the Marketing Director to ensure alignment with branding guidelines. - Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and are optimized for various digital and print formats. - Stay updated on design trends and recommend improvements to enhance Pride Winnipeg's visual identity. |
Skills Required: | - Diploma or degree in graphic design, or at least three years of experience leading graphic design efforts within an organization. - Strong understanding of design research and the creative process. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. - Experience with Adobe After Effects is considered an asset. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to handle multiple priorities effectively. - Passion for Pride Winnipeg's mission and commitment to inclusive representation through design. |
