Organizations and Teachers
Book a classroom presentation!
Through our community outreach activities, we connect with people on the benefits of volunteerism. We provide presentations on community engagement and how to find the right volunteer opportunity to classrooms, community groups and organizations for youth ages 13-29. This program is sponsored by Canada Life.
These presentations are tailored to suit your classroom and can include the following topics:
- Individual benefits of giving back to your community
- How volunteerism develops job skills
- Benefits to the community
- How to create your own community project
- Student scholarships and bursaries
- Accessing high school volunteer credits
If you are interested in having a presentation delivered at your school, please contact us:
Are you an organization that needs volunteers?
Volunteer Manitoba is delighted to be partnering with post-secondary schools to bring to you again the 2024 Annual Student Recruitment Fairs!
The Annual Student Recruitment Fair creates an opportunity for students to directly connect with non-profits and charities who are actively looking for volunteers.
This fair is expected to be exciting as you engage students who have various areas of interest!
Why should you participate?
- Expand your organization's reach and visibility within the community
- Connect with potential volunteers who are genuinely interested in your cause
- Share your projects, campaigns, and goals with an engaged audience
- Network with other like-minded organizations and explore potential collaborations
- Contribute to the growth of volunteerism and social impact in our community
We encourage you to bring promotional materials, displays, and any relevant information about your organization that will help attendees understand your mission and the volunteer opportunities you offer.
Booths are available on a first come, first served basis. Registration includes a table, 2 chairs and light refreshments.
This year, we have separate registration forms for each post-secondary school! If you are looking to attend multiple fairs, please register for each school separately.
