Description of Duties: | Position Summary: Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage Pride Winnipeg's social media community. - Create and schedule engaging content tailored to each platform, ensuring alignment with brand messaging. - Actively interact with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries to foster a strong online community. - Design visually appealing and compelling posts that encourage engagement and participation. - Analyze website and social media traffic to optimize posting schedules and engagement strategies. - Collaborate with the Marketing Division to develop social media advertising and promotional campaigns. - Stay up to date with trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to enhance Pride Winnipeg's digital presence. - Provide recommendations for improving social media strategies and community engagement. - Participate in committees and special projects as assigned by the Community Relations Director or Board of Directors. - Ensure efficient use of resources, time, and materials to support department objectives. |
Skills Required: | - Experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field. - Proficiency in various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. - Proven ability to create compelling, high-quality content that drives engagement. - Familiarity with social media analytics, SEO, and marketing strategies. - Strong understanding of digital trends and audience engagement techniques. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to build and maintain relationships within a diverse team and online community. - Creative, self-motivated, and innovative in approach. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. - Passion for Pride Winnipeg's mission and dedication to fostering inclusivity |
