Description of Duties:

OurToba Film Network INC is seeking passionate and dedicated women, non binary, and gender diverse individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a key role in shaping our vision, growth ensuring financial sustainability, and expanding our impact in the Manitoba Film Industry for women, non-binary, and gender diverse filmmakers.


Board members will serve a 2 year term and are expected to attend meetings as active participants, assist with fundraising, advocacy, programming, outreach and growth.



   
Skills Required:

We are looking for individuals with expertise in the film industry finance, fundraising, sponsorship, legal, marketing, nonprofit management, as well as a strong commitment to our mission.


We strongly encourage applicants from a variety of backgrounds to apply. Our members are from diverse backgrounds and we thrive on different perspectives to best serve the organization and support its growth.

We are a working board however we do prioritize mental health and work life balance. Volunteer hours are flexible and can be organized around your schedule. Usually a ten hour commitment is ideal for an OurToba Film Network INC board member.
