Description of Duties: | Serve on the Board of Directors, contributing to nonprofit governance and strategic planning. Participate in fundraising and revenue development initiatives. Assist with financial management oversight. Engage in community advocacy and outreach efforts. Attend monthly Board meetings (12 times per year, in-person and online). Support event attendance and fundraising initiatives. Potentially contribute legal expertise (if applicable). Commit to a 2-year term (approx. 6-8 hours/month). |
Skills Required: | Experience or interest in nonprofit governance, strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, or community engagement (preferred but not mandatory). Legal expertise is an asset (but not required). Passion for youth development and a collaborative spirit. Willingness to commit 6-8 hours per month (meetings, sub-committees, events). No prior board experience required-open to motivated individuals. |
