| Description of Duties: | Become a volunteer at Manitoba's largest outdoor fair! The Ex welcomes over 200,000 guests each year, and is filled with all sorts of entertainment and activities for each and every guest over this 10 day event. Add to the success of The EX by using your excellent customer service skills, including: - Greet guests in a pleasant and welcoming manner; - Provide event information and answer questions for guests; - Anticipate guest needs; - Keep you area of responsibility neat and tidy; - Report any issues or concerns in regards to the event or guests promptly to your supervisor; - The ability to work in various weather conditions (extra planning and preparation may be needed) - Other duties may be assigned. |
| Skills Required: | Practice your incredible customer service skills, including: - Be attentive and responsive to guests while practicing your quick-thinking, active listening and effective communication skills; - Be alert and aware of the activities happening in your area of responsibility; - Be proactive in keeping your area of responsibility neat and tidy; - Be friendly to guests; - Practice excellent time management skills before and during your shift. |

| Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening , Weekend A variety of shifts are available throughout this exciting 10-day event! The full event hours are listed below, however, volunteer shifts consist of blocks of 3-8-hour shifts, and are coordinated within your availability.
