Description of Duties: | You will help prepare and serve meals at our supportive housing facility, The Madison, at 210 Evanson Street. The kitchen is much smaller than the one at our main location, with far fewer people (and, therefore, meals) being served each day. A great way to volunteer with us if you're looking for a less crowded environment. |
Skills Required: | A willingness to learn; ability to stand for 2 hours; friendly; works well with others. Our staff will match your skill with a task. No experience required. |
Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Our kitchen staff are friendly, talented cooks who would be happy to show you how to clean and cut veggies, sort food items, and prepare meals. You don't have to have any experience. This is a great place to improve your cooking skills. |
