| Organizational Description: | We are a volunteer run organization that arranges an outdoor curling bonspiel on the Red River in Winnipeg over the first full February weekend (Fri-Sun). Funds raised from the bonspiel support the Heart and Stroke Foundation and HOPE worldwide Canada. First established in 2001 with 11 teams at the first event in 2002, we have had as many as 72 teams participate in our annual bonspiel event, which makes us the largest outdoor curling bonspiel in Canada. We still have room to grow with the wonderful support from all the great volunteers we meet. |

| Description of Duties: | This role requires a large time commitment before the event takes place February 6th-9th, 2025. The duties include: -Verify the commitment and contact details of our list of volunteers -Verifying which volunteers have certificates needed (Serve it Safe, First Aid, Food Handler) -Creating a schedule for volunteers and committee members to help run the event -Help host a pre-event meeting/brunch to get the volunteers together Most of the work can be done at home on a computer but there will be some in person requirements. |
