| Organizational Description: | We are a volunteer run organization that arranges an outdoor curling bonspiel on the Red River in Winnipeg over the first full February weekend (Fri-Sun). Funds raised from the bonspiel support the Heart and Stroke Foundation and HOPE worldwide Canada. First established in 2001 with 11 teams at the first event in 2002, we have had as many as 72 teams participate in our annual bonspiel event, which makes us the largest outdoor curling bonspiel in Canada. We still have room to grow with the wonderful support from all the great volunteers we meet. | |

| Description of Duties: | The Website Designer would take over the role of updating and building new features in to the www.ironmancurling.com website. To continue to be the best curling bonspiel in Canada we need to continue building features that help the curling teams and the event. Update code on pages and work with committee & sponsors change requests. The event is held at annually on the first full weekend in February as a fundraiser for Heart and Stroke Foundation. It is the largest outdoor curling bonspiel in Canada. |

| Skills Required: | Looking for someone with experience in PHP, MySQL and developing Wordpress websites. Knowledge about the game of curling, its rules and scoring would be a bonus. Positive attitude. Able to work with different sponsors, organizations and volunteers. |
