| Description of Duties: | From August 13-16, 2024 Habitat Manitoba is hosting a Blitz Build at 900 Pandora Ave West. We are looking for 50 volunteers a day for four consecutive days in a row. Lunch and snacks provided. What will you be doing while volunteering? Framing, joisting and building walls. Your safety is our priority! All volunteers are required to complete online safety training, attend the morning safety talk at the build site and wear PPE (we provide). Our Habitat Manitoba staff and volunteers will ensure that you are safe throughout the day. Join us as we build safe, decent, affordable houses for low income families. Our Construction Leaders will guide you with their experience and knowledge, regardless of your level of experience. This development will provide 55 homes for purchase by low income working families. |
| Skills Required: | Experience is valued and aprreciated, but we accept all levels of expertise and will train on site. Must be at least 16 years of age. |
