| Description of Duties: | Valley Gardens Community Centre is located in East Kildonan. This position requires previous experience as an executive member of a volunteer organization Board of Directors. Duties include overseeing the administration and securities of the centre. The treasurer works with the General Manager and the executive members of the Board of Directors to ensure appropriate use of funds. The treasurer prepares and monitors the annual budget. Attends executive and monthly board meetings; attends events in support of the Community Centre. |
| Skills Required: | Previous experience with bookkeeping and/or asset management is a benefit. Financial reporting, communication and management skills, budgeting. Attention to detail. |
