We recruit and train volunteer tutors who assist children, youth, and adults to acquire essential literacy and numeracy skills. We also partner with community-based organizations to help them establish and deliver literacy programs that meet the specific needs of their communities and participants. As Canada's original literacy organization, United for Literacy has been recruiting dedicated volunteers to work with Canadian children, youth, and adults from coast to coast to coast since 1899.
