| Description of Duties: | Assist in delivery of fun filled activities for Transitional Care clients. The activities are pre planned by staff. Volunteers assist in delivery of all group activities. The activities will alternate between Bingo and tailored physical exercise. Escort clients as needed to designated activity location (within the building). Creating a respectful and caring environment for clients and building an excellent rapport with team and participants. |
| Skills Required: | Physical ability to aide those with mobility needs. Understanding of Cognitive/physical limitations. Enthusiastic. Excellent time management skills, reliable, committed and punctual. Friendly disposition, Enthusiastic, outgoing. Enjoys working with adults and willing to gain enough competency to engage with the diverse client population. Past customer service or Health Care experience would be an asset. Ability to support participants with Bingo or Physical exercises. |
| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Working in a medical environment, related to Rehabilitation, social work, nursing, leadership and general exposure to medical environment etc etc. |
