| Description of Duties: | Bring your well behaved, gentle, kind dog and provide meaningful interaction and engagement with residents that are interested. You will not be assisted by an employee during your visits. This is an independent volunteer opportunity. |
| Skills Required: | You should be comfortable working with the elderly. Ability to communicate fluently in the written and spoken English language. You have the ability to engage and encourage participation with your dog in a thoughtful and loving manner. Your loving pet should be up to date with all vaccinations (you will be required to provide documentation), obey basic commands, comfortable on a leash, willing to be handled and given A LOT OF LOVE and attention. |
