How to Create Reels/TikToks

Video content is more important than ever - but creating effective Reels and TikToks can feel overwhelming (at best) and impossible (at worst).

This hands-on workshop will walk you through strategies to create scroll-stopping Instagram Reel and TikTok videos to promote your events and services and reach more of your target audience.

  • Caption and hashtag strategies
  • Step-by-step walkthrough to creating your social media videos

Any organization with a presence on Instagram or TikTok.

Facilitator:

Alyson Shane is a writer and digital marketer who has been publishing content online for over 20 years. She holds a degree in Rhetoric, Writing & Communications and is the founder and President of Starling Social Inc., an award-winning digital marketing agency.

Alyson is an engaged community member who volunteers on several boards and delivers dozens of talks a year, earning her the SPARK Outstanding Pro Bono Consultant Award for her work offering digital marketing services to local nonprofits.

When not working, speaking, or volunteering, you can typically find Alyson in her garden, on her bike, or enjoying a pint of craft beer at The Forks.
