Event Planning Committee - Major Gifts Lead

- Develop and structure a plan for growing major gifts, tribute, bequests
- Work closely with DVMS committee
- Work closely with the Donor Research & Development Coordinator on connecting company ESGs to our pitch/ask for donations or gifts

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Experience developing and executing a diversified annual fundraising program.
- Donor recruitment, retention, and relations experience in order to maintain philanthropic support from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Event and/or project management experience.
- Social media, marketing, and communication skills an asset.
- Experience leading a team of volunteers and understanding how to utilize everyone's skills to create a cohesive and nurturing team environment in order to achieve the desired organizational objectives.
- Organizational and time management skills to ensure tasks are being identified and achieved in a timely manner.
